Nurturing the Citizens of Tomorrow's World
This series of podcasts is aimed at practitioners, parents, carers and learners from around the world.
Through this series, I want to celebrate the success of Scottish Education by shedding light on some of our practices and show how they help nurture the Citizens of tomorrow’s World!
I was born in France and went through the French school system but have lived and worked in Scotland most of my adult life. Over the past 10 years, one aspect of my job has been to enable educationalists from various European countries and beyond to discover and observe the Scottish Education system. This current project is therefore both a professional and a personal one and is combined with my own experience of raising two children through the Scottish school system.
Finally, for this series, I decided to use a collaborative approach and I am grateful to friends and colleagues in Scottish Education for sharing their knowledge and insights.
In particular, I wouldn’t have been able to produce these episodes without the encouragement and collaboration from two of my mentors over the years, Fiona Pate and Roderick Mackenzie. Thank you both.
