Dear colleagues,
As we approach the end of the academic year, it’s time to celebrate the achievements before we move forward to some new developments.
New for the coming academic year!

Bilingual Book for Schools
Richard Tallaron’s book A Taste of Languages/Le goût des langues is a great way to explore the historical links between the French and the English language. Get in touch with Richard directly if you would like to organise a webinar for your learners or colleagues, in French or English.
The period from October to May was an exciting one as we ran new courses with fresh themes across different parts of Europe. We’d like to thank you for your contribution: it is your feedback and recommendations that allow us to continue to deliver better services to a wider European community.
It is difficult to choose the high points, starting with DIPS in Brussels in October 2024, with its carousels of workshops led by practitioners and moving on to our first course covering the themes of Chat GPT and AI, to transferring the drama-based pedagogy underpinning our core courses in English to the teaching of Spanish and German. We have been able to consolidate our courses in Sustainable Education, Inclusion and Wellbeing and Innovative Pedagogy. The joy and popularity of our English language and Irish culture courses is something we look forward to extending through the summer and in our future campus dates. At one stage in February, we had almost 100 voices singing and swaying to Molly Malone and The Wild Rover. Dublin didn’t know what had hit it!
We often speak with our course participants about sustainability and opportunities to connect beyond the training and it is a source of great satisfaction to hear that many of you have organised job shadowing, pupil mobilities and other projects with partners you have met through InterLFEE.
The year ahead promises to be equally exciting and we look forward to your continuing support and contributions to our community of educators and learners.
Next month, we will take part in the Cologne conference, organised by the German National Agency. The aim of the conference is to work towards understanding how best to implement the new changes to the Erasmus+ programme, with regard to quality training provision. We will do our best to represent your views and experiences in making your E+ journeys as fulfilling and meaningful as possible for your professional development.
Managing and embracing change is the central theme of our next DIPS course in Valencia. If you haven’t already booked your place, there is still time! Last year, the call to ‘bring your partners’ triggered a great response and we had a wide range of nationalities and institutions taking part. This year, we will combine our usual DIPS for Schools programme with a new DIPS for Vocational Education and Training strand. Please pass on the information to your VET colleagues!
Of course, before DIPS, we have a BIG SUMMER ahead with our Summer Campus at the University of Galway. We still have limited places available! Please get in touch.
We run many other courses throughout the year, check all the dates and details here. Feel free to also contact us directly to organise a course which suits your needs.
To register your interest in any of the courses above or for any further questions, please complete our Enquiry Form here.
See you soon on one of our courses!
