Erasmus+ Information

You are here: Home » Erasmus Plus Courses » Erasmus+ Information
Would you like to apply for a place on one of our Erasmus+ courses?

Please follow the steps below.

A. If your School/Consortium/Local Authority have not yet applied for Erasmus+ Funding

Step 1 – Contact us to book your place(s)

Teachers/Schools/Local Authorities pre-register interest for a course/courses with LFEE Europe via our Enquiry Form.

We will provisionally book a place for you/your teachers on your chosen course(s) until you have received funding results from your National Agency (see below).

Step 2 – Apply for Erasmus + funding

Schools/Local Authorities/Consortia apply for Erasmus + funding from their National Agency by the specified deadline.

Once your Erasmus+ application has been submitted to your National Agency, please send us an email to confirm that you have applied for the funding.  We will continue to reserve your provisional place(s) on our course(s) until you have had the results of your application

Step 3 – Get back to us with the result of your Erasmus+ application

As soon as Erasmus+ funding results are announced you MUST get back in touch with LFEE Europe to let us know of the positive or negative outcome of your application (please note that National Agencies do not keep course providers informed of the results of applications).

The place(s) held on your chosen course(s) are then either confirmed or cancelled (no payment will be due if you cancel at this stage).

Please note that your registration is on hold until we have heard back from all prospective applicants or until we have enough successful applicants to run the course(s).

NO TRAVEL BOOKINGS SHOULD BE MADE AT THIS STAGE.

Step 4 – Receive Course confirmation from us & Book travel

Teachers/Schools/Local Authorities receive confirmation from LFEE Europe that their chosen course is going ahead.

Travel arrangements to your Course Location should be made at this stage. You can also cancel your registration at this stage should you wish to at no cost.

Please note that LFEE Europe is responsible for booking your accommodation, meals, etc. for the duration of the course but you or your school/local authority are in charge of your own travel arrangements.

Travel insurance, personal liability insurance and social security cover are the responsibility of the teacher/school/local authority.

Step 5 – Complete the LFEE Europe online Course Registration Form & Pay the Course Fee

At this stage, the following will happen:

  • LFEE Europe will confirm your accommodation details. Please note meals are provided by LFEE Europe for the duration of the course. Where there are no programmed meals, pocket money is provided for you to eat at a venue of your choice.
  • Participants will be required to complete the LFEE Europe online Course Registration Form (a link will be emailed to you), which includes information on your teaching profile, your travel details, any special dietary requirements/allergies etc.
  • Participants will confirm the arrival date and departure date from the course location
  • N.B. the sharing Platform for the course will be Google Classroom

An Invoice for Course Tuition, Accommodation & Subsistence fees will also be sent at this stage, payable to LFEE Europe in advance of the course.

Please note that if you withdraw from the course anytime up to 4 weeks prior to your course start date, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the total fee payable to LFEE Europe. 100% of the Invoice is due thereafter.

In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to exceptional circumstances (Force Majeure, Medical reasons) the full Invoice is payable to LFEE Europe. Your National European Agency has a Force Majeure/Medical clause which may come into effect in those circumstances.

Step 6 – Final correspondence with LFEE Europe

An updated course programme is sent out to you approx. 4 weeks before your course starts and any last-minute information is exchanged.

B. If your School/Consortium/Local Authority have applied for Erasmus+ Funding but are awaiting results

Step 1 – Contact us to book your place(s)

Teachers/Schools/Local Authorities pre-register interest for a course/courses with LFEE Europe via our Enquiry Form.

We will provisionally book a place for you/your teachers on your chosen course(s) until you have received funding results from your National Agency.

Then follow Step 3 to Step 6 in section A above.

C. If your School/Consortium/Local Authority have applied for Erasmus+ Funding and have been successful in obtaining Accreditation

Step 1 – Contact us to book your place(s)

Teachers/Schools/Local Authorities contact LFEE Europe via our Enquiry Form, with dates of their chosen course(s). Three situations are likely at this stage:

a. Your chosen course is confirmed as going ahead: you receive confirmation from LFEE Europe that your chosen course is going ahead. Travel arrangements to your Course Location should be made at this stage. Please note that LFEE Europe is responsible for booking your accommodation, meals, etc. for the duration of the course but you or your school/local authority are in charge of your own travel arrangements.

Then follow Step 5 and Step 6 in section A above.

b. Your chosen course is on hold: We will book a place for you/your teachers on your chosen course(s) until we have heard back from all prospective applicants or until we have enough successful applicants to run the course(s). No travel bookings should be made at this stage.

Then follow Step 4 to Step 6 in section A above.

c. Your chosen course has been cancelled: Some courses might have to be cancelled if an insufficient number of applicants are receiving funding, and we will try to update our website as soon as possible after a cancelation. In the unlikely event that you are contacting us about a course that is no longer running, we will offer you a place on an alternative course, if available.

Please note that our main means of contacting you is via e-mail so please make sure you provide us with a working e-mail address that you are likely to check regularly, and that you inform us of any change of e-mail address at any point during the application process.

Please also make sure that you get in touch with us as soon as possible if you haven’t heard from us for a while or are in any doubt about any aspect of your course.

N.B. Our courses are very popular so please contact us as soon as possible to register interest as places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note, however, that we require a minimum number of applicants to obtain their ERASMUS+ funding before we can run any of our courses. You should therefore ALWAYS check with us whether the course of your choice is going ahead, and you should in NO CASE make any travel bookings BEFORE YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL FROM LFEE EUROPE that the course will be proceeding.

In the unlikely event of your chosen course(s) having to be cancelled, we will give you priority on another similar course of your choice, if available.
